Epica Health & Safety were the headline sponsor for the City of Liverpool Business Awards 2018, organised by leading private sector lobby group Downtown in Business, with Liverpool’s leading business men and women rewarded with the achievements of the best businesses in the city region.
The awards which filled the enchanting Sefton Park Palm House set the perfect background for the awards. In total there were 18 winners, and Elizabeth Sinclair, Director of Epica Health & Safety, congratulated and presented the Business of the Year Award to the team at Mowgli.
Corporate decoration left at the event was donated, by the team at Epica Health & Safety, to Willowbrook Hospice. Willowbrook Hospice, an independent charity covering St Helens & Knowsley in Merseyside, aims to enhance the quality of life, & relieve the suffering of patients with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses by providing Specialist Palliative Care for those in need and support for their carers.
“The aim of this donation was to try and put a smile of people faces, cheer them up and have more optimism for the day. Visiting family members including children will also get some happiness in their time of sorrow.
“The staff and patients at Willowbrook Hospice were overjoyed with this donation and it also filled us with fulfilment to be able to do little things like this for our local charities.” Ellie Carden, Service Coordinator at Epica Health & Safety.
