Commercial & Landlord Gas Safety Certification
Our engineers carry out commercial CP12 safety certification on a nationwide basis. Our engineers are also fully security screened for them to work in environments such as schools, nurseries, hospitals, care homes etc.
All our engineers will arrive on site at a pre-agreed time and date in full uniform carrying photographic identification.
Commercial Gas Safety
Employers and the self-employed are required to ensure that gas appliances, flues, pipework and safety devices are maintained in a safe condition. Gas work, including inspection and maintenance, should only be carried out by a competent, gas safe registered engineer. The frequency of inspections and equipment servicing may vary depending on the equipment and its use and should follow manufacturer’s recommendations but, as a rule, yearly annual inspections as a minimum frequency, with repairs carried out as necessary.
Landlord Gas Safety
As a landlord, you are responsible for the safety of your tenants. The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 deal with landlords’ duties to make sure gas appliances, fittings and flues provided for tenants are safe.
The landlord is responsible for the maintenance and repair of flues, appliances and pipework which you own and have provided for your tenant’s use. You are also responsible for ensuring an annual gas safety check is carried out within 12 months of the installation of a new appliance or flue by a gas safe registered engineer.
How much does Gas Testing cost?
This all depends on the number of appliances.  Prices start at £98.00 for the first appliance and then £32.00 per additional appliance. If you would like any more information, why not contact us or call 0151 448 7940.
We are also able to hold your service records and when necessary issue you a reminder that your next service is due, with plenty of time to schedule into your busy calendar.
