If you employ five or more people the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 requires company’s to have a written Health and Safety Policy which must include:
- Policy Statement
- Organisational Details
- Arrangements for Health & Safety
The purpose of a company health and safety policy is to define how your company will manage health and safety, and how it protects employees and others who could be affected by your activities.Â Your policy should be central to your health and safety management system.
